This piece is a reflection of my time camping along the Dampier Peninsula in WA.
Each of the 7 layer shares symbols of things which are iconic about this place for me, including stunning sunsets, sea shells, whales, waterholes, footprints, gum leaves, and people.
Something that was incredibly memorable for me was listening to the sound of whale tails
slapping against the water as we fell asleep in our swags. We saw so many whales and dolphins here, it was magical.
